  10. Due to a naming conflict, v1.8 of my program begins with a new name.  From
  11. this point forward, this program will be called InteliCat.
  12.  
  13. This version is starting with a clean version of this file as 
  14. the documenation has been completely rewritten.  In short, this version
  15. has the following enhancments over what was previously v1.78:
  16.  
  17.         EMS/XMS can be utilized allowing databases to have 32,000 files.
  18.  
  19.         Advanced selection criteria can now be specified (using logical
  20.           operators).
  21.  
  22.         A merge utility has been added to allow combining multiple databases.
  23.  
  24.         Individual files may now be deleted from the database.
  25.  
  26.         Disk names are now treated as non-case sensitive, and an option is
  27.           provided to allow you to force all disk names to upper case as
  28.           they are added to the database.  InteliCat won't accept disk names
  29.           that are unique by their case only.
  30.  
  31.         The comment entry screen has been completely reworked to allow 
  32.           easier input of comments.
  33.  
  34.         The comment import utility has been expanded to allow import of 
  35.           a greater variety of file/comment listings.
  36.  
  37.         Reworked the options input screens to provide a consistent user
  38.           interface.  (Also added several new options, and changed the 
  39.           format of the configuration file.  LCNEW - available to registered
  40.           users - will upgrade the old format configuration files to the 
  41.           new format.
  42.  
  43.         InteliCat supports startup in extended VGA/EGA modes.
  44.  
  45.         InteliCat now initializes faster on many computers.
  46.  
  47.         GIF Files are now support as ARChive types.
  48.  
  49.         4DOS descript.ion comment files can be imported automatically.
  50.  
  51. Many other minor changes help round out the most significant upgrade of
  52. InteliCat to date.
